Streaks
Your streak counter tracks consecutive days of completing your skincare routine. Every day you check off your morning or evening routine, your streak grows.
Why streaks matter:
- They build habit formation through accountability
- Longer streaks correlate with better skin improvements
- Breaking a streak is a gentle nudge to get back on track
Achievements
Achievements are milestones you unlock as you use the app. They're earned through different activities:
- Scanning achievements — complete your first scan, do 7 scans in a row, reach 50 total scans
- Routine achievements — complete your first routine, hit a 7-day streak, reach a 30-day streak
- Diary achievements — log your first symptom, maintain 5 consecutive diary entries
- Progress achievements — improve any metric by 10+ points, achieve a skin score above 80
Points System
Each achievement earns you points that contribute to your overall profile. Points are displayed on your Achievements tab and serve as a measure of your dedication to skincare.
Challenges
Challenges are time-limited goals that push you to try new habits. Examples include:
- "Scan every day for 7 days"
- "Complete your routine 5 days this week"
- "Log symptoms for 3 consecutive days"
Completing challenges earns bonus achievement points and helps you explore features you might not use regularly.
Tips for Maintaining Streaks
- Set routine reminders in Settings → Notifications
- Keep your routine short and sustainable (better to do 3 steps consistently than 10 steps sporadically)
- Scan at the same time each day to build habit cues
