What Is the Skincare Product Shelf?

The product shelf in AISkincare is your in-app collection of skincare products. You add items by barcode scan, camera capture, or manual entry. You can organize by category (cleanser, serum, moisturizer, SPF, etc.), check ingredients, and attach products to routine steps so you know exactly what to use when.

Free users can store up to 5 products; Pro users get up to 100. The shelf powers product recommendations based on your skin scan and metrics, so the more you add, the more personalized suggestions become.

Why Use a Product Shelf?

Keeping products in one place helps you remember what you own, avoid duplicates, and build routines with real products. The ingredient checker and recommendations use your shelf and skin data to suggest what might work best and what to watch out for (e.g. irritants for sensitive skin).

You can also organize by category and search, and see free vs Pro limits for shelf capacity. Linking shelf products to routine steps makes it easy to follow your AM and PM regimens.

How the Shelf Connects to Scans and Routines

Your scan and metrics inform which products the app recommends; those can be added to your shelf. Once on the shelf, products can be assigned to routine steps. When you track progress, you can correlate product use with changes in hydration, acne, or other metrics. The shelf is the link between what you own and how you use it in your personalized routine.
