What Is AISkincare's AI Skin Scanner?

AISkincare's AI skin scanner is a machine-learning-powered analysis tool that examines a selfie to measure six dermatological metrics — hydration, texture, tone, acne, pores, and redness — generating a composite skin score out of 100 with zone-specific breakdowns in seconds.

The technology uses computer vision and trained models to detect patterns in skin appearance that correlate with these metrics. You take a single photo in the app; the image is sent securely to our proprietary, internally-hosted AI service. We do not use third-party public AI models (such as OpenAI or Google Cloud) for analysis.

Results are returned in seconds and include an overall score (0–100), individual metric scores, and optional zone breakdowns. This data powers your personalized skincare routine and skin progress tracking.

What Happens When You Tap Scan?

When you tap scan, the app captures a photo using your device camera. The image is encrypted and sent to AISkincare's servers, where our AI runs the analysis. No human views your photo; processing is fully automated.

You receive an overall skin score, scores for each of the six metrics, and — for full scans — skin type, zone analysis, and recommendations. Results are saved to your account so you can compare scans over time and track trends.

If you chose a time of day (morning, afternoon, or evening), that is stored with the scan so you can see how your skin looks at different times and build a more complete progress history.
